locu
I am pretty annoyed about the fact that whenever I open the save/load dialog the view is switched to thumbnails. Whenever I change it, it is back to the thumbnail setting the next time I use the dialog. Is there any way how I can change this in general? Thanks, Matthias. Illnab1024
No. Paint.NET's open/save dialog is wired to always do that. (Also, use th Search feature next time - questions like this have come up before.) ~~
Rick Brewster
In v3.05, this is fixed if you are in Vista. The new save/open dialogs in Vista are much better about remembering all the stuff you've configured in them, and so there is no need to force a default (such as thumbnail view) on them. guest148
Are you sure there is no way to implement this in XP? Every other program I use does it correctly. Only PDN does not
david.atwell
You should read the rules about necroposting. The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
