You know you're addicted to Paint.NET/the PDN forum when...

When you bring your laptop to your grandpas funeral to look through the forums.....no joke.

Bwuuh? I'm half tempted to ban you just so you'll get a freaking life.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I kinda did something like that. I was at my uncle's house for the wake for my grandfather's funeral, and I took my uncle's laptop to show some people my work in graphic design on this forum.

Decided no to go there. A wake is not a subject for flippant humor or cheap laughs.

I hope you honoured you late Grandfather in a suitable manner. You have his genes and therefore he is living on through you. His memory should be cherished.

Yes, I honoured my grandfather very much. He was a very great man and I miss him a lot. It's just that we got there early with a couple of other people and I was looking for something to occupy me before everyone got there. Rest of the time I helped set everything up and served people food and drinks.

...When you look at browsers download directory and find that you've downloaded over 700 plugins and file types. (guilty)

...When you start building a 32gb workstation just to run all those .dll files. (guilty)

...When you wish that plugins could be coded in VB.net because you've spent months learning that language. (guilty)

...when you purposely edit the PDN logo for your avatar (guilty).

...when your Email Inbox (one of them) looks like this

...when your sad enough to take a screenshot of ^^^^^

...when you write an 210-page report using PDN (yes, I am guilty, I think in some countries you can be shot for doing that)

...when you consider PDN to be a viable reason to have Windows over a Mac (guilty)

...when you create animations frame-by-frame with PDN (guilty)

...when working out complex mathmatical questions to put on paper, you use PDN to work them out.... then you use a scanner to digitalise the question.... then you use PDN to put-one-on-top-of-the-other... then you use PDN to print the end result out... then you find that your alignment was two pixels out-of-place... and then use PDN to re-allign it... then use PDN to print it off again... then remember it in this detail and plaster in this thread. (GUILTY)

...when you draft-out the html code for a website using PDN (guilty)

...when you've got your friends so interested you can purposefully quote lines out of this thread... on a daily basis... whilst your friends recognise whoever it was who wrote the "line" (guilty)

...when you try to get - not-so-interested - friends to use PDN as their word processor, because it's 'more functional' (guilty)

...when PDN is in the DEP exception list as you've coded a plugin that uses files from the %windir% that you're not supposed to use (NOT guilty)

...when you come up with lines so deep and interesting (to me they are) that they actually sound vaguely true

...when you see a photoshop tutorial and think "didn't I see a PDN tutorial for this, oh yeah.... it was forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/0000-aaa-aa-aa-a-aaa-a-aaaaa"
