You know you're addicted to Paint.NET/the PDN forum when...

Recommended Posts

To give credit where credit is due, Ed Harvey has helped Rick with Paint.NET numerous times, the most recent of which was helping track down some memory leaks. As far as me correcting Rick, well that's just hilarious to think about. They have both helped improve my programming practices more than you can imagine (even though Rick still balks at some most of my decisions). Rick and Ed are both quite educated and experienced - I'm in high school writing a few lines of code between essays. They're both orders of magnitude beyond me. (For now... )

True, but it's not to the point where it's everyday.

Which is a good thing, otherwise Rick wouldn't be that good of a developer :)

Which would be the death of us all.....

....when you hand out presents and cake when a moderator celebrates their birthday... you also take the day off when Rick has his.

When (and this actually happened to me!) you're eating soup and you go to pick up a spoonful, and you find yourself thinking the spoon will only pick up the vegetables and not the broth because the broth is in a different layer.

...When you try writing on paper with your tablet pen

Guilty.

When you know the sequence to the Effects folder by rote.

My Computer! C:\! "P" key (Program Files)! "P" key (Paint.NET)! "E" key (Effects)!

You have a Paint.NET speed-dial group.

You have a Paint.NET Firefox profile.

You have a Paint.NET user account.

You have a Paint.NET VM despite using Windows.

You have a Paint.NET OS instance despite using Windows.

Despite having a perfect main computer which you use for heavy graphics as well, you have a dedicated computer for Paint.NET.

I just have a shortcut to the Effects folder on my desktop.

You make a sig and av set for each day of the week and each week and month and year and decade and century (And you won't live long enough for the next one in the series)

...and when asked why you don't simply use PHP and libgd you say "I enjoy using Paint.NET, even for something as mundane as changing the date in my signature."
