brennycabinets
I am trying to make images with transparent backgrounds to work on websites with colored backgrounds. Can anyone help me? Thank you
usedHONDA
That's simple. Just save the image [with the transparent background] as a PNG. Your probably trying to save it as a JPEG, but they don't support transparency. GIF supports it, but just barely. Look at this comparison to see why I save every image as a PNG: EDIT: Sorry, it was a typo. Helio
You bet .png is supported! Quote v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended. "I wish I had never been born," she said. BoltBait
Well, IE7 does support PNG transparency properly. IE6 only supports PNG transparency like GIF--either fully transparent or fully opaque. My recommendation: try both PNG and GIF to see which format works best for your type of graphics.
