racerx
I did a flag animation in PDN. If there is interest, I may upload a video tutorial on how to do it using the "Ripple" plugin and midora's animate images.
Ishi
Upload it on Youtube and link it here. I think that is interesting. You could use the concept not only on flags but also water or even wind.
skullbonz
I am very much interested. I love it and Ishi is right, it opens the door to a lot of possibilities. Is it also possible to have the clouds slowly moving in the background too? Ishi
Is it also possible to have the clouds slowly moving in the background too? I think the Ripple plugin that he mentions isn't the best motion distortion effect to be done on clouds but we'll see how he does it anyway, if a video is uploaded. I had my theory on how it was done but I don't wanna spoil the party 'till the video is there.
Seerose
racerx! I would also love to the video tutorial. That would be helpful. Quote Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. Gandhi
racerx
OK, the tut is up: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/32480-flag-animation/ This principle can also easily be applied to water ripple/wave animation.

racerx
Or maybe this...... This was done 100% in PDN using the same principle as used in the tut I linked to earlier in post #6.
Boy2006
Something like this?no compare an Burning Animation and the Flag together and everything is fine. And you do a great work!

Eli
no compare an Burning Animation and the Flag together and everything is fine. And you do a great work! I really do not understand the meaning of the first line. I want to believe that Boy2006 is using a translator and the translation may not be the best. The second line I do understand it and I think the same. Racerx, you are an expert animating images!
midora
Instead of 'no compare' only 'now combine' makes sense for me ;-)
