stence
i need to know if you can use brushes and make fancy 40 layer sigs with paint.net and use the brushes to give the background a faded type scratch effect, any help?
Helio
Like this? As an answer, yes, you can. In fact, I am in the process of writing a tutorial for it. usedHONDA
Are you referring to my sig? I just used a cool font and the Erode/Dilate plugin (and some effects, layer duplicating, and layer blending). usedHONDA
One thing you can do is to use the clouds effect at maximum roughness. jake2k
I don't see how that sig could be 40 layer o_O. To make the background just browse through google images for some rough textures then mess around with the filters and effects untill you get what you like. Then you add your pics and a border and your done. Not the most complicated thing to make haha Here's a couple that I did: Quote ^Click to visit my Flickr Gallery^
The_Lionhearted
That last one looks particularly good Jake. While we're on the subject of textures, how do you find them...just search "texture" on google images? Quote My Gallery
