angryXerneas
Wow, that was a mouthful, but here goes. I recently acquired a new computer, on which I am typing this. I downloaded Paint.NET immediately after setting it up because I used it on my old computer, a Windows 7, and it worked beautifully. On this computer, a Windows 8.1, however, it does not. It is often laggy to the point where it takes up to three seconds for the lines I draw to follow my cursor. Additionally, it occasionally acts as though I dragged my cursor all the way to the left or the top while I am drawing, causing an ugly line to appear across the entire image, which requires me to undo all of the work I had done during that stroke. I don't believe that it's my tablet pen (a Huion 580) that's causing this behavior, as it worked fine with my old computer. I am not sure whether my new computer or the application itself is causing the issue. Does anyone here have any ideas as to what could be causing the problem, and if so, what I can do to fix it? I would very much appreciate it if this could be responded to soon, as it is of (albeit minor) urgency, but I do not wish to put pressure on anyone. Thank you very much in advance, and have a great day! Quote [/an entire novel, probably]
