NinthDesertDude
1. Open Paint.NET. 2. Copy an image to the clipboard which has a larger width or height than the current image. 3. Click save for the current image as .png or .jpg to get a modal dialog for quality and compression settings. Do not save yet. 4. Make the application lose focus and make it active again (through taskbar should work). Ctrl + V is no longer restricted. This is probably the issue. 5. Use Ctrl + V. Since the image dimensions conflict, you will get a dialog asking to expand canvas, keep canvas size, or cancel. Choose expand canvas. Crash. Tested in version 4.0.3 on Windows 7. Probably still an active bug since it's semi-obscure. Edited July 26, 2015 by AnthonyScoffler
