GeckO
I've had this problem for awhile now where when I put a gradient on text it makes it all jagged. I have tried AA-assistant and feather and they don't help. Any tips would be appreciated! Eli
Hello GeckO, First, select the white area with the magic wand and press delete. Then, apply AA's_Assistant effect.
GeckO
Ok but now I put an outline on it and it looks bad again.
Eli
No problem! Just run AA's Assistant again. Edited July 20, 2015 by Eli

Eli
Lets try again... Start with a transparent layer. Type your text with the color you wish. Run AA's Assistant Run Outline effect Run again AA's Assistant. Edited July 20, 2015 by Eli

racerx
A better method I believe is to use the "Alpha Mask" plugin to apply texture to your text. No jagged edges and you can use any texture you want.
