jp2paint
I'm trying to make a background with a smooth radial glow using the Gradient tool. What I keep getting looks ...very digital - meaning there are concentric little rings in a finite number of steps that prevent the effect from having the smoothness of a true light source on a wall. I even added a Gaussian Blur with a radius of 20 to reduce the effects, but it is still noticeable. Is there a setting I need to use to make this work? BoltBait
After drawing your gradient, use Effects > Distort > Frosted Glass instead of Gaussian Blur. Increase the minimum scatter radius a little bit and adjust the maximum scatter radius to taste. 1 Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game

pdnnoob
Make sure you enable anti-aliasing when you make your gradients. (it's really dithering, but the button reads "anti-aliasing enabled/disabled") 1 Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich.
