johnnysdream
I hope this is the right place to post this.I feel it's getting a lil boring around here so I thought I would start this thread.I was wondering what your opinions were on who you think is the best or your favorite pdn user?I vote sor someone who is no longer around.WelshBlue.It says under his name that he was banned. No clue what that is about but I think he has shown the most skill with this program. Ego Eram Reputo
You get a chance to vote for this every year in the annual forum poll. Is that not enough? Ego Eram Reputo
I wasn't trying to be sarcastic or anything like that. It's just that we already have this annual poll which BoltBait generously hosts. All forum users can take part. You've been a member here through two of these polls. So I assumed you'd know about it. If you feel your suggestion can add value - I'm willing to be convinced Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
Drydareelin
Similarly, we could do a "Favourite PDN pieces" or whatever. I have a few personal favourites floating around the forums Quote Gallery DeviantArt Planet Tutorial | Sun Tutorial
barbieq25
Welshblue was always saying that people should take more time to comment on the artworks & testing out tutes presented. He hated the fact that users would take hours even days to complete an image or tute & then very few folk would comment, let alone critique the work or try the tute, even when they requested it. We already vote, as noted previously, twice, each year & that should be enough. We already have our say in our favourite artwork by nominating it into the Galleria. If you are not sure then send me a message. It's been a while since we had any nominations. There is a lot of life that could be injected into the forum if you are bored, by participating in discussion on artworks, writing tutes, entering comps, trying out new tutes, new plugins. Rather than waiting to be entertained, how about being the entertainer? Dryda, find those pieces - comment on them & see if you can generate some discussion on them. Why is it your favourite piece? What aspect appeals to you? What could be done better? How does it make you feel? Mostly I have been guilty too of commenting on the run. I am not bored or slack, just over-run by RL. 2 Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. April Jones, 2012 Gallery My DA Gallery
midora
The active community is quite small. Pointing out people may be not the best idea in this situation. More critism would be fine. Sometimes people are too nice here ;-)
