MikeyMike78
Hello All, New to using Paint.Net and was wondering if there is some way to set guidelines and possibly have the ability to snap to those guidelines? Trying to use for page layouts and structures and I am missing that functionality quite a lot right now. Thanks!
Maximilian
Hi and welcome to the forums! You can try TR's PseudoSnap, which allows you to align objects snapping them to a grid. In the plugin's thread there's a tutorial video showing how to use it. Hope it helps!
xod
Not exactly what you want, but you can try it: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/22568-photo-alignment-cropping-guide/?p=419811

I needed some guidelines for horz alignment and sizing, but just by eyeballing, so I created a layer above my target layer, drew a line forcing it horz (or vert) by holding shift, then switching back to the layer below. You can also align them to the ruler by using the 'move quad arrow' box. -Christian
