ofir
hello, i m a PhotoShop user looking for a free alternative. Pdn is the best free photo editor i have ever seen :!: this is a really good work, keep it up. 1) i couldn't find a way to change the grid spacing to be other then 1 pixel - is there a way? if not add it to my feature requests. 2) feature request - guide lines: horizontal & vertical lines that used only as guides. 3) slices & save for web. UglyKidJoe
sorry this might be really wrong, but for guide lines can't you just add a new layer, draw some lines, work on the layer below and then delete the top layer?
Bob
There is a grid plugin which is more configurable. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
ofir
well... :? i m aware of the ways you suggested, BUT... those suggestions are a work around. they r not a REAL solution.
MadJik
Isn't it anyhow a work around to define the guide lines? Advantages with this 'Solution' : - the layer with guides lines (or curves/shapes/whatever) is saved with the file. - you could create more than only one layer of guides lines... ofir
ok, i see your point. it might be that i m accustomed to a different way of working (with PhotoShop). what about the slices + save for web ?
Bob
These features has already been requested before (for something like 1 year or more). I think it will not be added in a short term. Save for web is just a better compression ratio. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. ofir
OK... what about a slices plug-in? is there one already? is there one under development? is there any alternative?
Rick Brewster
is there one already? is there one under development?is there any alternative? Sorry, but: no, no, and no (to answer the three questions -- I'm not repeating for emphasis). This type of plugin is not possible. barkbark00
Ctrl+C, Ctrl+Alt+V, Ctrl+S... That copies your selection, pastes it into a new image and saves it. Quote Take responsibility for your own intelligence. 😉 -Rick Brewster
