racerx
Is there any way to edit the effects list in paint.net to remove plugin entry? I know I can remove individual plugin dll's, however some plugin packs group them all into one DLL. You can't remove individual effects with those. Red ochre
Not really, if they are in the same '.dll'. If the plugin author is still active on the forum it might be worth asking in the publishing thread for that set of plugins. The 'plugin browser' can be useful for tracking down which effect is in which dll. If, for instance, you have two versions of the same effect housed in differently named .dlls. 1 Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. Ego Eram Reputo
Adding to Red's answer; With paint.net 4x, hovering the mouse over a plugin in a menu shows a tooltip. The DLL and author are named which aids plugin identification. There is no way to edit the list of installed plugins except by removing or deleting the container DLL and restarting paint.net.
