TR's Filaments v1.0.15+ (Feb. 19th, 2015)

Recommended Posts

Bravo! Another wonderful plugin from your thinking cap. It makes me think of this photo

Now, as I usually do, my first request :)  : Would it be possible to add my own nods/lines so I can better control the shape of the filaments? (Something like in the SplineMaster).

Grey box. Top left of the UI = node instructions. You can add and remove nodes at you leisure ;)

There is one continuous line. I don't think it will be possible to add more.

@TR - another remarkable plugin. Many thanks for giving me the opportunity to see its development.

Thanks EER, I saw it and deleted all the lines excep the last one (it is not possible) OOPS I just realized it is only one line. So I decided to test it by drawing "Eli" with the nodes but something happened... A little Dwarf came and took one of my nodes and placed it somewhere in the red circle and does not want to give it back.

Thank You, Eli, EER ,ReMake, DD and RED

A little Dwarf came and took one of my nodes and placed it somewhere in the red circle and does not want to give it back.

The Scramble Nodes button will return all your nodes to the screen. Making them disappear was a conscious effort due to the abstract nature of the effect. But I could put in a checkbox to limit nodes movement so you have a choice.

TR is faster as fast always. Looking to the thread title he is 3 weeks ahead already compared to the rest of us.

Is this a surprise? Not any more  ;-)

Fix Uploaded - v 1.0.4.26685

somehow I accidently checked Auto-Resize on the picturebox - set it back to Normal

v1.0.5.+ added option to quickly change the number of nodes

v1.0.6.+ added option to change the thickness of the filaments

v1.0.7.+ added option to support more than two colors (rainbow)

I have already considered all these changes but I'm done for a little bit - look for these in the future.

TR, I have a question:  Is the plugin intended to run only on the entire canvas? I ask this because when I make a selection, the effect is applied to the entire canvas.
