Plain Text question

Recommended Posts

Just type your text in a plain text editor (like notepad) and save it as a "TXT" file.

Upload your "filename.txt" file to any web host and you're done.

Just be aware that plain text pages can not have graphics, backgrounds, colors, or links to other sites.

usedHONDA, remove the trailing period from the URL.

And, juanz-dezignz... have you already created a new layout that you want to share with others?

I didnt create that,

I am using that as

an example to

learn how the basics

of .txt work,

OK, you want the basics...

Here they are:

Just type your text in a plain text editor (like notepad) and save it as a "TXT" file.

Upload your "filename.txt" file to any web host and you're done.

Just be aware that plain text pages can not have graphics, backgrounds, colors, or links to other sites.

It really doesn't get any more basic than that.

If you are having trouble using Geocities, for example, ask on a tech support forum. This has gone on long enough.

Per forum rules, this is not a tech support forum.
