Drydareelin
Near the end of this or next year, I need to make a few posters describing a research field I was involved in for my Physics degree. It will most likely require some fairly advanced mathematics so I was wondering if there was a plugin currently or how hard it would be to create one? I've searched, but to no avail. I have done something similar before using a LaTeX Mathematica simulator but that won't do well on large and frequent scales. The level of mathematics I'd see myself doing would surpass this and this by a fair bit. Thanks, Dryda Quote Gallery DeviantArt Planet Tutorial | Sun Tutorial
Ego Eram Reputo
I don't recall anything remotely able to do this except perhaps my WhichSymbol+ plugin with a font like this https://www.fontyukle.net/en/Mathematical+Pi+3.ttf Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
BoltBait
Honestly, I think you're better off using Microsoft Word's Equation Editor. Look under Insert > Equation. 1 Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
Rick Brewster
The Text tool should accept pasted text that's fairly complex but it won't take rich/formatted text. As long as you're using 1 font and you know which one it is then you can use an external editor to craft stuff up and then paste it in. As a simple example, try opening Character Map (built-in to Windows) and copy/paste some weird symbols Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Rick Brewster
Also, the Text tool now supports colored fonts if you're using Windows 8.1. Scott Hanselman had a blog post on using the on-screen keyboard as a tool for inputting emoji and that technique works great in paint.net http://www.hanselman.com/blog/HowToEnterAndUseEmojiOnWindows81.aspx Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html

Ego Eram Reputo
I'd be interested is seeing an example of your equations. In particular the (approximate) layout and range of symbols you require. Feel free to PM it to me if you'd rather not publish it on the forum. Your request has sparked the nub of an idea....
