Searching for a "texture plugin"

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm new here and also from germany, so sorry if my english sounds a bit bad :)

I'm using Paint.net since a few months for things like Picture Editin (You don't say....). most of the Time for school.

At home I'm currently animating, and thats what I'm asking for:

I'm searching for a plugin that allowes me to create 5 differnt kinds of 1 Picture (Normal, Occlusion, Displacement, Specularity and Diffuse)

I wasn't able to find that does that automaticly. So if you got one here, please let me know :) I'll try to search while waiting for an Answer, but the list of Plugins is to long D:

I'm using version 4.0.3

To my knowledge, there isn't a single plugin that can automate what you are looking for.

However, if you are wanting plugins for the effects you listed, Occlusion, Displacement, Specularity and Diffuse, paint.net does have plugins for things such as Displacement and Diffuse.

There is no automatic way of applying multiple effects to multiple versions of an image, but we can suggest how to do what you want through using layers and other things.

Occlusion (mapping), Displacement (mapping) are associated with 3D graphics , Specularity and Diffuse" these are shaders associated with 3D Rendering. Are you looking for 3D modeling software?  Blender  may be what your looking for.
