Wylie
Hello, After an upgrade about 6 months ago, my flood fill is exceeding the tolerace I set. Even at 0 tolerance, it fills in aliasing, erodes letters, etc. The select tool is working properly, and if I select then fill within the selected area the results are good (as expected). This problem presents in all file types. Does anyone know why the flood fill is not working in my 4.0.3 release (final build)? Thanks,Wylie Edited October 14, 2014 by Wylie
Ego Eram Reputo
The Paint Bucket tool (and others) now have an option in the Tool Bar to change sampling mode. I suspect you have Image selected - so the entire/composite image is sampled when checking the tolerance. Try swapping it to the Layer mode - this should work as you expect i.e. sampling is restricted to within the active layer. Rick Brewster
You might also try turning off antialiasing in the toolbar. That controls whether the paint bucket uses feathering. Wylie
Antialiasing did the trick! Thanks so much for your help. Have a good day. Wylie
