Hi everyone !

I need a colour picker software to assist my interest in photo-manipulations and designing things. Well, I already have ColorZilla installed in my browser and have downloaded Pipette, Colormania and ColorPix waiting for an installation.

The question is, which colour pickers is safer for installation in Win7 with SP1 ?

Any thoughts ?

Thanks in advance.

If you like to do it from Paint.NET then you can use the ColorHarmonies plugin.

Select "Single Color" at the top and the picker will be visible below of the color wheel.

After OK the color is on the clipboard and can be copied into the Paint.NET color selector.

I've been using (as well as Color Harmonies) something called ColorPic.Ink for years and I have Win7.  I see it's available here but keep an eye on safety upon downloading.

Thank you !

Colormania failed to fulfill my expectations ( I think it's Win7 incompatible ), so I pick your choice. And it's works well straight away after installations.

Downloading from Cnet and softonic is not 100% safe so it's good to provide the link from official website :

So that the others can gets the same benefits.

Cheers !
