Creating Shapes

Hi

 

I am a bit of a beginner with paint.net and would like to see if someone could point me in the direction of creating my own custom shapes.

 

I am looking at creating hearts, starts, squiggle lines, circles with different style edges to them, all of which I want to be able to fill with colour or patterns.  I hear lots of people talking about plugins but not sure what I need or where to get them.

 

I have tried to upload a picture of the kind of thing I mean but it wont let me.

 

I would appreciate any help.

Yes, you will require a Plugin or two to get started.

It does take quite a while to get the hang of it but don't be afraid to ask for help if you get stuck.

Thank you very much for the welcome . I am looking forward to reading lots of tips and info on here as I really like paint.net its one of the more straight forward programmes I have used however shame I cannot get it to work with vector files unless its just me.

 

I will go and take a look at the links you have posted.
