Goonfella
Working with the new PDN this evening it struck me how often I use a particular new feature . So I was wondering , what might be the most popular one used here? We have had plenty threads commenting on the not so popular ones so I thought a bit of positivity was in order. I think Rick would find it interesting to see what is the favourite as well. So - mine is quite a simple one really. It`s the new icons in the top right hand corner enabling you to hide/unhide the windows at a single click. Quite a lot I find myself turning off all the windows to see how the image looks without anything getting in the way. I never used to do this in the old version because it meant going into a menu or trying to remember the keyboard shortcuts (which I never could), so this is a definite improvement which I would miss if it returned to the older system. Great idea and really useful. Now - who`s next? Quote Please feel free to visit my Gallery on PDNFans And my Alternatives to PDN

Cc4FuzzyHuggles
The ability to move layers by dragging them is probably my fave or most used new feature. I also love the copy merged feature and hardness adjustment feature for the eraser. Quote *~ Cc4FuzzyHuggles Gallery ~*
Pratyush
1. The soft brushes with the hardness setting and blending options. I love them. 2. Also, The live 'tolerance' adjustment for the paint bucket and magic wand tool.
Riddley
I absolutely love the new dynamic tolerance adjustment that makes it so you don't have to keep selecting over and over, it's soooo useful. I also like the new Shapes tool. I'm not too fond of the new way that shift+ellipse works though... Ego Eram Reputo
Shift ellipse = circle. That's the same as 3.5x. What don't you like? Goonfella
Excuse me guys but I did start this thread for things you DO like , not what you don't. I would appreciate it if we kept to that. Many thanks. Quote Please feel free to visit my Gallery on PDNFans And my Alternatives to PDN

Riddley
The new shift+ellipse only goes in 45 degree angles, the old 3.5x one had a 360 degree range of motion. Quote Check out my gallery/archive: here Just keep on keeping on. ✌

Pixey
Let me count the ways: 1. Much faster than v5. 2. Child windows – easier to switch on/off. 3. Paintbrush & rubber eraser hardness scale . 4. Ability to move layers. 5. Live tolerance in Paint Bucket and Magic Wand Tools. 6. Finish option. 7. New Shape Tools. 8. Rotate - by grabbing a corner. 9. Reverse transparency in Gradient Tool. 10.Move Selected Pixels now not leaving behind a ‘ghost line’. Pixey
Message to self: "Thou shalt not speed read". Yes, now I see you said 'One'. But that seems a shame, as there are so many more. Perhaps pointing them out is good for newbies (and oldies like me) who may not know or have noticed . Goonfella
Absolutely Pyro. Selections are so much better now. Also I like the moveable layers, all the extra shapes for the Shapes tool, and after getting used to it - the Finish option. toe_head2001
Being able to adjust Shapes without having to redraw them!Multilayer sampling for the Color Picker tool is also a good one. Especially when you have a million and one layers, and are too lazy to find the correct one.
