aeroplaneman747
Hi all, Been using paint.net for a few years - excellent program! I am repainting an aircraft for FSX (repainting is the process of creating aircraft textures that run in flight simulator). The paint I am trying to emulate on a different aircraft model can be seen in this photo. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Boeing/Boeing-787-9-Dreamliner/2474635/L/&sid=9e9fadcb8108e4d8f77ad7ee6c9878aa So far it has been progressing quite nicely, however the part I am struggling with is the grey lines that run along the rear section of the aircraft. How can I create lines that look similar to those in paint.net? Thanks, Michael
Cc4FuzzyHuggles
Have you tried exploring custom brushes? http://www.brusheezy.com/ You can use ABRMate to convert brushes to png. http://www.texturemate.com/abrMate You may also like this plugin to make your own lines that have "thin" ends : http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/25591-curly-lines-plugin-updated-to-v11a-19th-nov-2012/ Then try using the gradient tool set to transparency mode to fade things Or Try using the eraser tool with hadrness set to 1. Riddley
You could just change the fill bucket texture and use the transparency gradient tool. Quote Check out my gallery/archive: here Just keep on keeping on. ✌
