Holding back is just opening you up to viruses, computer hijacking, being used for DDoS attacks, the works. Please update. Additionally, we cannot support any versions of Paint.NET prior to version 4.0, which requires SP1. If you note the forum rules, you'll see that asking about previous versions is not allowed.
