Rickenbacker
Again, here's a photo I'd like to manipulate so that I can make my own phrase with the same "smoke trail text" on the same background. For example, I'd like it to read- "Surrender Leroy". How might that be done? Edited June 23, 2014 by david.atwell
Pixey
Hi again . 1. So, first get a nice cloudy picture 2. Go to dafont here to pick your smoke text and save to fonts in your OP system, before you open Paint.NET. 3. Import your cloudy picture and on another layer type your message. Hope this is what you were looking for? Cc4FuzzyHuggles
Question, does what picture of the sky matter? Because editing the smoke in that picture would be tricky. However, if you find a nice sky picture and then add your own smoke you could have some nice versatility. I would recommend trying out this tutorial, then seeing if you can adapt it to using text instead of lines, or at least maybe you can get some ideas from the tutorial : http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28094-smoke-effects-no-plugins/ If you use a font that works well, the tutorial should produce something fun for you. Use a thicker font, and maybe even one of the "Editable Text" plugins that are available in the Plugins section of this form, to give some further creative appearances to the font. These two website are good places to look for free legal fonts :1001fonts http://www.1001fonts.com/And the one Pixey suggested, DaFont. Here is DaFont's FAQ page http://www.dafont.com/faq.phpSome cool text plugins can be found in this pack : http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/16643-dpys-plugin-pack-2014-05-04/ Edited June 23, 2014 by Cc4FuzzyHuggles Quote *~ Cc4FuzzyHuggles Gallery ~*
