blickbox
I have some images where I'm trying to hightlight/increase the visbility of some white "dots".Here's a sample image: http://i.imgur.com/jwTTvwG.jpgWhat do you suggest I do, in order to make the white dots/circles more visible? It does not matter if the entire image is distorted - I just need to make it easier to see the circles in order to count them. Drydareelin
A simple Curves adjustment (Ctrl+Shift+M) should sort that out. Click on the middle of the diagonal line and pull it down until you get the desired effect. Cc4FuzzyHuggles
I would also recommend Curves+, as I personally think it can sometimes give more dramatic results. Your white dots might show up even more then. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/3749-curves/ If you still don't see your white dots very well, you can always go manual. Zoom in very close, add a new layer, and make the dot's more viable by using the color picker tool, then paint over them.Or, you can select an easy to see dot and copy, add new layer, paste. Replace all the hard to see dots with easy to see dots. Tip, you can use the arrows on your keyboard to move things pixel by pixel.
