littlebigman
Hello One thing I'm missing from PaintShop Pro are the preset shapes like arrows and such: Is there a way to get those in Paint.net? Thank you.
david.atwell
Pyrochild's Borders n' Shapes plugin and BoltBait's Polygon/Stars plugin (both are part of their author's plugin packs) are good places to start. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
Cc4FuzzyHuggles
You could make your own arrows using the line/curve tool. See the bottom of this guide : http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/LineCurveTool.html You could also save those arrows and use them as custom brushes. littlebigman
Thanks. I'll check if those packages have arrow-styles shapes available.
littlebigman
Effects > Render only contains basic shapes, not arrows. I'd rather some ready-to-use solution instead of having to learn how to write brushes. I'll see if there's a free alternative to PSP. Thank you. Ego Eram Reputo
Grab a copy of my WhichSymbol+ plugin (link in my signature). With it you can insert font-based symbols and icons. I know one of the wingding/webding fonts has an extensive selection of arrows.
