iggy67
Every time I try to install the software I run in to this speed bump and I have no choice but to click the OK and it exits out the installer. Is there a way to defeat this issue?
Rick Brewster
Use the installer EXE, not the MSI. Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
redhorse
Is my problem the same? I get a message that says, "Compressed (Zip) Folder error. Windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination could not be created." (Thank you Rick, for such an awesome program.)

bill worthy
Okay maybe I missed something. about half way thrue the install I get "paintdotnet 803222964.msi" find the location. if I brouse to find it their was about 20 different numbered.msi files but no 80x.msi, I erased all and completely removed all traces of paint.net. new install of either beat or 3.5 get the same. it also said "network source unavailable" got 3 computers and get the same on each. firewall is off, antivirus is off. I think I read all the ?/answeres did I miss one, that would help? "Windows Installer ! The path c:\programs files\paint.net\staging\paintdotnet 803222964.msi' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package "PaintDotNet 803222964.msi' in a folder from which you can install the product Paint.Net v 3.5.10 Edited June 16, 2014 by bill worthy
