Increase Resolution on a zoomed in image?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to increase the resolution on an image that has been zoomed in on? Trying to find a specific color on a specific place of it and when you zoom in on the image, it of course gets more an more pixaled as you zoom in closer and closer?

Any solutions?

As you magnify an image by viewing at more than 100% the colors do not change - they just get spread further across the screen (pixelation).

If you turn on the Pixel grid when zoomed in you'll see that the pixels are still true to their original color, just larger.

I think you're asking a question that could be partially answered by this tutorial.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
