david.atwell
Paint.NET works great in Windows 8, and has been installed there by many (maybe most?) of its user base. What is the specific problem you're getting? Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
cyrilphoenix
Ok I show you screenshot of installation error (I talk about paint.net 4.0) Other question or suggestion. Today if I make a print screen then after I open Paint.net, the default size of new file in not the print screen size, can you change this to have the clipboard picture size as default size ? StephanP
paint.net is working perfectly on Windows 8 or 8.1. This counts for the v4 beta as well as for the current v3.5 Question #2 really is a regular usage question. Did you already check the online Help? (You can use "Edit - Paste as new image" or better shortcut key CTRL+ALT+V for this.) Edited February 28, 2014 by StephanP

Today if I make a print screen then after I open Paint.net, the default size of new file in not the print screen size, can you change this to have the clipboard picture size as default size ? It looks like you started the installer twice. Close them and start over. If that doesn't help, reboot. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
