New Transparency Feature Request

Recommended Posts

Hi

I would like to suggest that the Fill Tool also be allowed to fill with a transparent colour (i.e. the same result as erasing).  It would make it quite simple to remove a colour by making it transparent.  Erasing can be tedious but using the fill tool with the thresholds would be very quick to convert the colour to transparent thereby effectively erasing it..

Thanks,

Simon

Check out the 4.0 alpha. Use the "overwrite" blend mode in the toolbar.

This is also possible in 3.5.11

Use the magic wand to select the area, then with a transparent color picked, press backspace.
