How do I match this PowerePoint graphic enhancement?

I have a GIF image file (single colour on transparent) I would like to match to this PowerPoint text.

 

There is a slight embossing with a hint of highlight, plus the shadow effect.

 

Has any kind soul devised plugins to achieve this?

Can't see the image, but from what you're describing I would have a look at @BoltBait's Bevel Selection plugin.  This should do both the highlight and the embossing.

 

Then try this plugin Drop Shadow for the shadow effect.

 

Drop Shadow requires that the text be on it's own transparent layer.  Bevel Selection requires the text be selected prior to running the effect.

Drop Shadow works well but Bedvel Selection bevels the entire image (bevels it beautifully, but the whole image not the elements).

It's called Bevel Selection  Make a selection of the letters first, then run the effect.
