meconopsis
I've moved from Win XP to Win 7 and so can no longer use the ancient program PaintShopPro v3. One of the things it could do that I use a lot is the ability to specify the position of a selection numerically. If I am drawing a grid based image on (say) a 400*400 image, I want to be able to easily select (say) area x=200..220 y=180..200 (size 20*20) Is there any way of doing this in paint.net? If drawn with a mouse or cursor keys, it requires a lot of careful mouse/keywork, usually zoomed in a lot more than I would prefer. === meconopsis
pdnnoob
You can set the size of the selection as seen below: As for position, you have to do that manually. As you seem to have discovered you can use the arrow keys for fine adjustment. Ego Eram Reputo
Remember that the Status Bar shows the Cursor location, selection start point and the size of the selection.
