Jubbes
Hi. can any of you tell me how to save all the images i have opened on paint.net at once?
Visual
That would not be a good thing. You may close an image that you overlooked at first. For everything there is a reason.

pdnnoob
Not exactly sure how we went from saving all the images to closing them by accident... However, the two are related in that, if you close paint.net without saving, you will be prompted to save what hasn't been saved. Sooo... Crazy as it may sound, if you want to save everything that is open, just click the little red "x" in the top right and click "save" in the window the pops up. No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. Rick Brewster
Well I think Jubbes isn't wanting to exit, and just wants to save everything in one go. It's not possible with 1 command, and I have no plans to implement this. pdnnoob
Well I think Jubbes isn't wanting to exit, and just wants to save everything in one go. True, but (I'm quite sure you) realize that I'm no developer, so the best I can do is give workarounds As far as I know, closing paint.net is the fastest way to save everything that is open...unless you have something else hidden up your sleeve... BendButDoNotBreak
Long time (satisfied) user of paint.net - I would find this feature quite valuable. One task I use paint.net for is capturing screenshots of presentations. I then annotate them in real time as I listen to the presentation. Depending upon the length of the presentation this can easily result in many images open. Usually I want to save these snapshots for later review. This is where a function to save all images with a naming scheme would be very useful. Otherwise, I'm forced to save each slide individually (and manually). You might argue I'm using the wrong tool for the job but keep in mind that paint.net is almost always running on my box. Cheers
david.atwell
This is a rather old thread (take a look at the forum rules, resurrecting old threads is against those rules). Also note that before making a feature request you must check this thread: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/2940-popular-feature-requests/ , which has currently had this feature added to it. In light of both of these things, this thread is Locked The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
