I'm trying to figure out how to turn a photo into a silhouette (I think that's what it's called).  Does anyone know of a tutorial or can explain to me how to go about doing it?

There's two styles I'm trying to do.  One is all one color, and the other is two colors kind of highlighting shady parts.  Here are the two examples:

Thanks for any info and guidance you can provide!

Replaced overlarge images with links

Hi 6fthook - welcome to the forum!

I've replaced your images with links as the images were larger that we allow in posts (800px maximum).

Secondly, this section of the forum is reserved for the publishing of tutorials.  I'll move this to the correct section for you.

For the first one , you can get Inksketch+ from my plugins (use the attachments) , and maybe use the built-in Median effect for more rounded edges.

For the second one, i believe there was a plugin called "Black and alpha" , search for it.  it'd help .
