PlainoldTony Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Hello all When drawing a line or curve you get four handles. One at each end and two between, which can be moved along the line. Is it possible to add handles to produce multiple curves in one line? I expect that this subject has been raised before as it sounds so basic, but I'm darned if I can find it. Best regards and Happy new year averyone. Tony Quote plainoldtony
Red ochre Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Hello Tony, Yes it has been asked before and I'm afraid 4 handles is all you get currently. Right click the handles/nubs for Bezier curves by the way. I think the only work around is to make complex curves by joining smaller lengths. (always happy to be proved wrong though if someone has a good idea!) Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. Diabolical Drawings ................Real Paintings
PlainoldTony Posted January 20, 2013 Author Posted January 20, 2013 Hello Red Ocre Many thanks for your prompt reply. More and smaller curves is the answer to that then. I believe Corel Draw can do it so it's possible. But then, anything's possible, isn't it? I suppose I'll have to try harder to master bezier curves too. Best regards Tony Quote plainoldtony
barbieq25 Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Tony, I found that having each one on a new layer & merging down once you are happy with it helps. I tend to use the round ends as I find it easier to match up the ends. Holding down the CTRL & scrolling with the mouse is my best friend when I do the wire frames.
