pdnnoob Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 No, this is not possible. The image data isn't there, so all you can do is extrapolate based on the pixels you have, which is what paint.net does. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/17049-dpi-and-you-understanding-resolution-for-print-and-web/ Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. Ego Eram Reputo Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Quite correct. You're trying to paint your whole house with one test pot. There just isn't enough material for the job. Ego Eram Reputo Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Regardless of the resampling algorithm used you're still interpolating to create data that wasn't there before. is it posible to get high quality image from low reolution image 100x100 ? No it isn't possible. here is the original image (115x140 px)......and this is my result using paint.net (1000x1218 px) You've enlarged the image by a factor of 8.7. Expect it to be blurry and low quality because each pixel in the original has been stretched to cover almost 76 pixels in the enlarged image.
