pedsto
I draw a line, then draw another. How do I go back and modify the first line, color, end point, etc.? What obvious click am I missing? Thanks
BoltBait
You can't. Once a line is finalized it becomes part of the bitmap graphic. If you are looking for a free vector editor, try Inkscape. Thanks You have to distinguish between a bitmap editor (like Paint.NET, Gimp) and vector editor (like InkScape). A bitmap editor does not remember the shapes and the attributes of the last drawing action.
HELEN
However, if you create lines in separate layers, it might be easier to go back and edit them by erasing. That way, it won't affect the other lines. Also, save as .pdn to keep the layers saved. jim100361
Having them on separate layers will allow you to modify them. Using the selection tool you can select around it, then cut and re-paste it so you can resize it and even apply effects.
