Putting PDN on a CD??

Recommended Posts

I find it best to always redownload plugins and Paint.NET when doing a fresh install. That way, you get all the latest plugins.

Plugin authors often make changes and republish plugins. It pays to redownload every so often just to stay current.

The suggestion of always reinstalling plugins is a good one for the reasons BoltBait mentions.

In a pinch, however, it should also work to just copy the Effects and FileTypes directories to the new system. I fully understand that sometimes (or often) (or always!), it just isn't something that's fun to do.
