Kush6
Hey guys, I just noticed, the spray paint thing in MS Paint wasn't there in PDN. Any Plans to introduce that in PDN 3.0??? I'd be really glad if you could, cause, although i can achieve the same effect with frosted glass and that divine magic selection tool, its much easier doing it directly. Any thoughts? Rick Brewster
There are no plans to include that in Paint.NET. Rick Brewster
Nope, a plugin for this could not be made. You cannot add tools with a plugin. Hellfire010
I already suggested this a while ago... unfortunately, noone liked the idea And I think you should be able to add tools with a plugin... maybe something you can consider? Rick Brewster
Nah, the tools have to be pretty tightly integrated into the application. It would tie our hands as to what other changes we could make anywhere in the UI. For example, the UI changes in 3.0 (context-dependent toolbar, MDI) would've been impossible if we had allowed "tool plugins" in 2.xx. However, whenever it makes sense to open up extensibility points, that will be done.
