Side-scrolling with mouse does not update display area.

I have a Logitech LS1 laser mouse. Its scroll wheel has a side-scrolling function, so it is possible to scroll left or right in many applications, by tilting the wheel to the left or to the right.

Paint.NET v3.5.10 responds to the side-scrolling somewhat. However, I only see the scroll bar move, while the display area is not updated.

This seems to be dependent on the mouse driver/software. I've seen some mice work fine, some don't work at all.
