Downloading paint.NET

Recommended Posts

I got to that page easy enough, but the Downland button did not start a download.

Do I still have to go through that "PD..." site to download. I'm scared to death that something in that extra site will take over my PC like another one did which cost me big bucks to clean out.

I'm sorry you're having problems, but I just downloaded and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. My best guess is that your computer is already infected with something. I don't know what to tell you on how to get it fixed. Sorry.

I clicked on the Blue Button.

Soon I had to make two choices.

I got scared and quit in the middle of that.

Now I'm stuck with two Virus.

One is Babylon. The other has to do with cleaning my PC.

Still don't have paint.NET

I went to Google with the one virus and the instructions to remove it are as scary as downloading paint.NET.

I didn't have this trouble before. I'm the only one on this PC.

I wonder why my AVG didn't stop this?

I used Drydareel's link and got paint.NET on my PC.

I took a Class on ".NET" at the local college. It was interesting. I've used MSPaint for a long time now. Looking forward to paint.NET

Here's what I downloaded on the first Button I clicked on: I wouldn't open this if I were you. Dick

The "blue button" was an advertisement. Use firefox or google chrome and download the adblock plus plugin if you do not wish to have those issues in the future.

No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait

LOL, I'm afraid of almost everything I get. I have AVG. An old Anti program that should have caught that Virus.

Sometimes the advertized fix is worse than the Virus. And I don't know which is which.

I'll work on it tomorrow. I'm just out of emotional energy tonite!

I'll give them a try.

Apparently this Virus is well known. Lot's of "Instructions" to get it out of the PC.

Mostly I cannot make use of the instructions because of the language (Nouns) they use don't match what I know and understand.

Anything or anybody I try to reach is forced to go through that Websearch. I wont send anybody anything till I get this fixed.

They say it's a Re-direct from Google or FireFox. It seems to reach a lot of folks from Ebay too.

I have W-7 Home.

I may try my Laptop if Avast will let me see the instructions for my Dell W-7.

Whatta mess.

It's like having Measles as a Kid. I'm afraid to go near anybody!
