Jerry Adkins
I recently had to replace the hard drive in my computer and re-install Paint.net. I installed the latest version 3.5. When I copied my collection of plugin files (including outline object) to the effects the object option does not appear in the Effects menu. Any advice is appreciated. Ego Eram Reputo
Download the plugin again. Jerry Adkins
I downloaded it again and copied the dll to the effects folder. Object option is still not showing up in the effects menu in pdn. I am using Windows 7.
BoltBait
You may have installed the files in the wrong place. It is easy to do on Windows 7. Try following the instructions on the following page VERY carefully: https://boltbait.com/pdn/InstallingEffects.php Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
Ego Eram Reputo
If working through the steps BoltBait pointed you to doesn't work, post a screenshot of your effects folder. Show the path to the folder & also the contents (note maximum forum image size = 800px). Jerry Adkins
I followed the directions from BoitBat. It still didn't work. Finally, out of desperation, I deleted the dll files in the effects folder and copied the dll files from BoitBat's downloaded zip file to the effects folder. It now works. I had a lot of other plugins installed, and probably one or more of them were causing problems. Just a guess on my part. Now, I will only install plugins as they are needed. Thanks everyone for the help.

A fast answer is appreciated =] Edited July 25, 2013 by Dragoon
Daniels
There is no object menu until you install some plugins. I recommend the BoltBait pack, the Pyro pack, Ed Harvey pack, and KrisVDM pack. You can find these in the plugin index. How to install plugins 1 Quote Logo/Banner Competition My Gallery
