One is that you can pick the color of the image and not just the one of the active layer. This is something I'm really missing because quite often I do not know which of all the layers contains the color and so I'm picking transparent pixels. In the description there is a toolbar button to switch between these two modes. I would prefer to use shift click to get the color of the image.
