Faking sharpie/marker text?

Hi, I was wondering if there's any way to manipulate text to look like it was written in real life by a marker or a sharpie - both in writing and in color that will fit the lighting in the image.

Please respond.

Add a new layer

Type your text in a handwriting-style font (go to http://www.myfonts.com/ or some other font site to find one). Make sure you are using the color you wish the end result to be

Set the layer blend mode to Multiply

*sniff* my avatar is ruined by the new forum appearance
