Pixey 3,904 Report post Posted September 10, 2016 Thank you so much @Collagemaster . I have tried to find the tutorial that I used to make the MP3 Player - which was either PS or CS6 - but the site is no longer there. If I ever find it again I'll let you know. Maximilian 1,809 Report post Posted September 13, 2016 Brilliantly shiny glassy fruits!
Pixey 3,904 Report post Posted September 13, 2016 Many thanks @Helen, @Eli, @Lynxster and @Maximilian . So glad you like them and to drop-in and comment. It's much appreciated . As for a tutorial - well, it's been here all the time . I made the fruits based on this tutorial by Ella. But, instead of using text and a filled object, I outlined the fruit and then used her technique. I elaborated a bit by blurring and smudging and using the Alpha Mask a lot, and then playing with Blend Modes as well. Then adding highlights and on the Pear, a bit of Glass Blocks .
doughty 317 Report post Posted September 13, 2016 Brilliant! Love what you've done and the way you have the light shining through the glass. Going to have to revisit Ella's glass tutorial myself.
lynxster4 2,639 Report post Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) Ahhhh, Pixey...and I've done the tutorial, but with text only! Very creative use of the tut...will have to revisit also... Edited September 13, 2016 by lynxster4
Pixey 3,904 Report post Posted September 14, 2016 Thank you so much @Doughty for your nice words . Thanks @lynxster4 . To quote from a previous member - @Ash ...." Remember, think outside of the box! " . In this case, it was more like 'outside of a fruit basket' .
