andron
How can it be that regular Paint.net v.2.72 installer size is 3.6 MB, installer with bundled .Net framework 2.0 size is 49.2 MB, where as .Net framework 2.0 itself from Microsoft is only 22.4 MB ? Rick Brewster
Because we include Paint.NET (3.6mb), .NET 32-bit (22mb), and .NET 64-bit (40mb). Now, do the math and I dare you to say it's still oversized The reason we include both .NET versions is because I don't want people to have to figure out, "Umm ... do I have a 64-bit? What is a 32-bit?" The question they should be answering is, "Do I want Paint.NET?" and then they can just go.
