gubment_cheez
when entering text with the text tool, the text in the layer that is being edited flickers. in my case, I've got blue text on transparent background, and the thumbnail in the layers window flickers between the regular blue/transparent, and black on white/opaque. the flicker seems to occur at the same rate as the text-cursor blink-rate, and the flickering does not occur at all when Paint.Net is running in the background. Rick Brewster
Yes. It flickers. Nothing's wrong with your computer. It has to do with the fact that it renders the thumbnail on a background thread, during which the main thread is drawing text onto the layer. So sometimes the thumbnail gets a half-torn view of the layer. Thankfully it's harmless.
