My fonts dont work

I downloaded some fonts from dafont.com and I installed them. When I would go to select them, they would not show up in the drop-down box. I clicked and tried to use them and it said "there has been an unhandled error". I looked it up and tried to fix it. I uninstalled KB2505438. I went to Paint.net again. It would do the same thing. What is causing this?

The fonts used in Paint.net are what the computer itself uses. So you would need to place the fonts in the computer where other fonts exist, not in Paint.net

Thats what I did. I sent an email to crashlog@getpaint.net containing the pdncrash file.
