dale
If I open a jpg file and draw a single line just a few pixels long, when I save the file it doubles in size (as in disk space, not pixels). How can I prevent that from happening.
pdnnoob
The original jpeg was probably saved at a low quality setting. When you saved it, you probably saved with high quality. Lower the quality if disk space ranks higher on your agenda. Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. david.atwell
My suspicion is that the original file was compressed, and when you opened it and saved it, it saved it as an uncompressed file. pdnnoob could be right, too, but if your file wasn't low-quality, it was probably compressed before you opened it. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
